ARTIST'S STATEMENT

In these tough times, the one thing I miss is having my daughter with me… the uncertainty of when and where will I meet her gnaws at my soul and makes me want to remove all barriers between us. This poem is born on one such helpless afternoon. 

 

 

BIOGRAPHY

An alumna of Delhi University and Indian Institute of Mass Communications, 5 years ago I gave up my 29 year old career in Public Relations for my passions. I have, since devoted myself to the things I love – theatre, books, writing, travel and above all the freedom to do what I want and when I want it! Thus, I co-founded Urban Suburban Productions – a theatre company based in Gurgaon; have o- scripted most of our 15 Productions; published a short story in the anthology 'Escape Velocity'; travelled extensively and read everything I could lay my hands on. Presently I’m working on a collection of short stories and poems.
